On Monday, April 11, The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) confirmed that it has released the results of the mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted on Saturday, April 9.

We report that the release of the results was announced via JAMB’s weekly bulletin released on Monday, April 11.

The Board said candidates can visit its website to check their results.

2022 Mock UTME: How to check results

We gathered that a total of 175,978 candidates indicated interested to sit the mock examination in 757 centres in 105 examination towns across the country.

The optional exercise was introduced by the Board to give candidates the opportunity to familarise themselves with the Computer-Based Testing (CBT) environment.

The examination board said the 2022 mock exercise was adjudged to be hugely successful.

Jamb, however, said it would not rest on its laurels as it will conduct real-time appraisal of all its accredited centres to ferret out those that showed some signs of failure with a view to ensuring that that they do not hamper the conduct of the main examination scheduled to start on Saturday, May 6.

Meanwhile, at the close of the registration for the 2022 UTME and Direct Entry (DE) programme on Saturday, March 26, JAMB said a total of 1,837,011 candidates were successfully captured in the exercise that took place nationwide between February 19 and March 26.
