His father Adedeji Adeleke is a business mogul and his mother Late Vero Adeleke was a university lecturer. Davido is the youngest of five siblings and his father’s second-born son.

The singer and songwriter, Davido had a pretty much rough start to his music career.
Davido went to the United States to study business administration at Oakwood University, bought musical equipment and started making beats.
